Videoset Italia is a kids casting agency for young actors. We work in show business to introduce our actors to Productions dealing with TV commercials, fictions and cinema. Basically we look for new talents among children and teenagers. Our presence in Italy is huge, thanks to meetings organized in order to contact the families.

Videoset Italia began with Chantal D'Agostino. She is an entrepreneur with a deep knowledge of management and public relations and a proven experience in show business.

What kind of services does Videoset Italia offer?
Videoset Italia creates photo books and takes care of the image creation of young actors. It uses the most suitable channels to promote the profiles of its members and counts on a professional, constant and long-term relationship with the Productions.

I am a parent and I think my son/daughter is a talented child/teenager. I truly would like him/her to grow up safely. What does Videoset Italia guarantee about that? What is an ethical code?
Videoset Italia is aware of the importance of precise and irrevocable rules while talking about the image of children and teenagers. That is the reason why we have decided to be transparent, to communicate with the families constantly and to refer to an ethical code you are welcome to read. The code must be signed by all the parties involved in the business and offers an internal regulation, a series of norms to protect the image and the integrity of the child, his/her social life and his/her education.

Why does Videoset Italia ask for a payment if it is not able to assure an engagement?
The payment Videoset Italia asks for is to cover the cost of a good service, which is necessary in order to create and to promote the image of the child/teenager. Although there is no guarantee of an assignment, the services we offer represent a primary step to enter show business in a proper way and to make a real search of opportunities.

I am a Production. How can I enter the archive of Videoset Italia?
The archive offered by Videoset Italia is private and can be visited by partners only. Of course we are willing to start new collaborations. Once established, our clients will be able to view the archive, ask for specific profiles or turn to us to obtain the most suitable profiles according to your requests.

I would like to know if my son/daughter is suitable for show business. What about the apprisal? Do I have to pay?
A very first appraisal does not cost anything. Videoset Italia truly believes in the very first connection with families and wants them to feel free to act. There will be a short interview with the child, he/she will be put in front of a television camera in order to understand his/her telegenic qualities and confidence. Both parents must be there. The presence of both parents is an essential condition for the appraisal to take place, and it is absolutely free. Later we will think about the possibility of accepting your child as a member of the agency. In this case a contract stating the role of  Videoset Italia in taking care and releasing the image of your child will be signed.

Is an assignment guaranteed? How long does it take to get one? Can I count on more than one assignment? With what frequency do assignments come up?
Videoset Italia speaks very frankly: nobody can assure an assignment. It is true that show business is always looking for new faces, but it is also true that there are lots of aspirants. Moreover, the profiles Productions ask for may vary according to trends and fashion; this is the reason why it is impossible to foresee and/or guarantee a job. In order to reduce the problems dealing with the introduction to show business to their simplest terms, we do our best to create and promote an image which is always suitable to the times and circumstances.

In the case of an assignment, what kind of job is my son/daughter going to do? Is it going to interfere with his/her life and education?
The aspiring actors belonging to Videoset Italia with an assignment will work in TV fictions, films and TV commercials. The characteristics of these jobs do not interfere with the aspects of your child’s life. We ask families to be constantly there, beside their children and we assure Videoset Italia will be present to carry out its primary role, according to its ethical code, in order to fulfil all your expectations.
